Eid al-Adha Dinner

Join the University of Iowa Muslim Student Association for its fourth annual Eid dinner. This free event includes a full dinner, photo booths and more in a celebration of community.

RadTour Iowa City

This bicycle tour of local farms, food and fermentation starts at New Pioneer Co-Op in Iowa City and includes stops at Buck Creek Hops Farms in Solon, Sundog Farm, Becky’s Mindful Kitchen and a post-ride party at Big Grove Brewery & Taproom in Iowa City. Each farm is paired with a chef serving local food tastings.

Woof, Wag & Wine

Join Safe Haven of Iowa County at Fireside Winery for its annual Woof, Wag & Wine fundraiser. Dog trainer Robin Moulds of Alpha House K9 will demonstrate training with attendees’ own dogs. The event also features doggy games and awards, a vineyard dog walk, silent auction, an opportunity to have your favorite pooch photographed by CTW Photography, and live music by Unplugged featuring Zach Freedom. Wine and appetizers will be available, with Fireside donating 10 percent of the sales to Safe Haven.

Ladies Victorian Afternoon Tea

Wear your grandest hat and step into the past at the semiannual Granger House Victorian Tea. Butler Paul returns to regale guests with tales of proper tea; bring him questions. Period costumes are encouraged and reservations are required.

Lipstick and Whiskey — Now more spirited

Whether you want to break out your fanciest dress or throw on your favorite jeans, get ready for an evening of friends and libations. The tasting event will feature whiskey and other spirits made by Cedar Ridge Distillery in Swisher. Tickets include four cocktails, snacks and a chance to win raffle items.
