Event Description

Build and take home your own fairy garden, house and fairy/gnome. You can also help plant the fairy garden in the Edible Classroom.

Materials, plants and containers are provided.

Open to all ages. Children 10 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

Taught by Jen Kardos with Backyard Abundance.


The class is held in the Edible Classroom at the Robert A. Lee Community Recreation Center.


The fee for the class is $15.

Register at the Parks and Recreation website.

Please register soon: the class is limited to 15 people and is likely to fill up fast.

What to Bring

Please wear clothes that can get a little dirty.


This event helps people learn how to cultivate food, habitat and healing in the garden.
