Threading Our Way Through the Singer Sewing Machine

The sewing machine was perfected in the mid-to late-1800s through the work of many individuals. Soon after, one company dominated the industry, with its superiority extending over many decades. This presentation will emphasize the development of the sewing machine and concentrate on the ingenuity of the Singer Company and tell of many of its milestones, particularly in its early history. There will also be some “show and tell” with several sewing machines.
