Perhaps the most popular science event of 2017 was the solar eclipse in August. The total eclipse umbra crossed coast-to-coast. The previous time that happened was 99 years ago. The event was witnessed by millions. Totality crossed central Missouri. Jim drove to Missouri with his family to see it. This class describes what the event was like. He will share a video showing how the sky darkened and how his 6 year old grandson was amazed. In addition, the class includes several other views of the eclipse from some very unique situations.
