The arts are so lively in Eastern Iowa, it’s nearly impossible to choose the best of the best offerings, but here are my picks for sure-bets scheduled for 2017.

7. “PETER AND THE STARCATCHER” AND “PETER PAN”: Two theaters, two tales about the boy who refused to grow up.
