Round Glass Paperweight Workshop
<p>Come and partake in an active, artistic adventure with hot glass! You will work one-on-one with a glass instructor to create your own unique round glass paperweight out of 2000-degree glass. The workshop will start with instruction on safety, discussing the project, and colors being used. You will be shown how to make one paperweight using the various tools and equipment safely. Then the instructor will guide you through the process to make your very own round glass paperweight. Your creation will be ready for pick-up the following Monday. <p>The Mars 2020 rover, Perseverance, launched from Kennedy Space Center on July 30, 2020. For the past 6 months the rover has been silently cruising through space and is due to land on Mars on February 18, 2021.
