8th Annual WWII Remembered
<p>August 20 & 21, 2022</p><p>The greatest generation will be remembered and honored as living historians from Iowa and surrounding states come together to display uniforms, artifacts and vehicles from the Second World War (1939-1945.) The 8<sup>th</sup> Annual WWII Remembered event will feature uniform presentations and weapon demonstrations on both Saturday and Sunday. Previous year’s events at the farm had reenactors representing the United States, Great Britain, USSR, Poland and Germany with vehicles from the United States and Germany.</p><p>The event is free to the public, however donations are requested. Cedar Amateur Astronomers present James Webb Space Telescope Day
<p><strong>Bring the kids and join Cedar Amateur Astronomers as we continue to celebrate the James Webb Space Telescope. Doors open at 1 PM on Sunday, August 14, 2022. </strong></p><p><strong>NASA JPL Solar System Ambassador Mark Brown will discuss Webb's first images from July, and any new images released since then. In this fascinating interactive discussion, Mark will give us an update on some of the science learned from these images and answer questions from the audience.</strong></p><p><strong>Then we will log into a live expert panel discussion straight from NASA. This is exclusive to host sites only, and guests are welcome to submit questions in advance or during the live chat.</strong></p><p><strong>We will have many kid activities throughout the day both inside and out (weather permitting).
