Wheel Try It! Extended Day Workshops on the wheel!

Wheel Try It Sessions: Extended Wheel Class

This is a one-time class. For this session we will assist you in learning how to center the clay on the wheel and how to create cups and bowls, with more in-depth demonstrations. This class is more about the process of working with the wheel than a specific project, this is great class for kids and parents who are interested in developing a set of skills for working with clay. Each participant will complete at least 1-2 cups or bowls. All materials, tools and instruction from our knowledgeable staff are included. Minimum age is 9 years old. All skill levels are welcome

Group and personal instruction both take place in these workshops. This is a great way for kids and parents alike who are interested in developing a higher set of skills when working with clay --without the commitment of an eight week class.

Clay, tool, firing, and instruction from our knowledgeable staff are included. We'll introduce you to the potter's wheel and help you create a piece that we will then fire and glaze for you to take home. Projects will be available for pickup 2-3 weeks later. Cost is $35 per person and class is from 10:30 am – 1:00pm
2019-12-07 12:00:00 -060012/07/1910:30 a.m.Iowa Ceramics Center and Glass StudioCedar Rapids -
