Do you know your options for receiving Medicare benefits? Do you want to better understand how Medicare works with other health insurance options? A two-hour Welcome to Medicare seminar is offered monthly by Senior Health Insurance Information Program (SHIIP) counselors which provides an overview of traditional Medicare benefits (Parts A and Part B, prescription drug plans (Part D) and Medicare supplements), as well as the growing array of Medicare Advantage plans. The Senior Health Insurance Information Program, is a service of the State of Iowa. SHIIP counselors are trained by the state and do not sell or promote any insurance companies, policies, or agents.
