Lifelong Learning: Wellness in Nature for Seniors

The outdoors provides a great foundation for principles of healthy living and wellness: fresh air, deep breathing, sitting less, stretching, and building strength. Heather Rittgers, CNWC, CPT, CHIP Facilitator, and Lifestyle Educator Barbara Maring will introduce breathing techniques and mindful movement, followed by gentle stretching and a discussion on the importance of strengthening activities. This class will be held outside in close proximity to Amazing Space, and is designed for our friends who are 55 years of age and up, and those with mobility concerns that prevent them from being regularly active or outdoors. Coffee and tea will be provided. Pre-registration required. Fee: $5
