Event Description

A labyrinth is a powerful ancient symbol of our journey through life. It has been a part of almost every culture and religious tradition in history. The labyrinth is not a maze; it has a single path that leads to the center of the circle and then back out. This winding path takes us on an inward pilgrimage to our own center and leads us toward the Divine. Walking the labyrinth is a spiritual, prayerful practice. Join facilitator Angie Pierce Jennings at Prairiewoods (120 East Boyson Road in Hiawatha) for a guided labyrinth meditation on the outdoor labyrinth. (In case of inclement weather, we will walk the indoor labyrinth.) The cost is $5, and registration is required by Sept. 13. For more information or to register, contact Prairiewoods at or 319-395-6700.
