Event Description

One of the hardest parts of garden planning is getting a good head start and keeping those seedlings alive! In this course, learn all of the ins and outs of starting your own edible garden from seed starting indoors and out in the soil. Learn to care for new seedlings, how to harden off plants, when to transplant, and grow your own food. Garden planning can be easy once you know which plants do well next to each other. Companion planting can make or break your garden as it can keep pests away, prevent disease, and even impact the flavor and quality of your vegetables. Whether you want to learn how to be more sustainable, feed your family delicious homegrown food, get outside and put your hands in the soil, or cook more at home, this course will teach you all you need to know to get started planting the garden of your dreams!
