Professor Poduska has worked both sides of the food system. As a farmer and food producer, she has experienced what it takes to grow and distribute food. As a health care professional, she has witnessed the impacts of that food production system on people’s health. Discussing issues such as hunger, overconsumption, and antibiotic resistance, this presentation will include both personal and global perspectives on health care concerns in our food system.
