Event Description

Do you love tiny houses? How about the idea of downsizing or living more simply? Join us at the Hiawatha Public Library to learn more about these tiny structures from Small House Society member: Greg Johnson

Greg Johnson has been a voice for simpler smaller living for decades. In 2002 he helped establish the Small House Society during the early years of the tiny house movement. He lived in a 10x7 off-the-grid home in Iowa City from 2003 to 2009, and continues to be an advocate for small home living. He wrote a book about his own small living experience — Put Your Life on a Diet: Lessons Learned from Living in 140 Square Feet. In this talk, Greg will share about his own tiny living experiences and answer any questions you may have.

Saturday, November 2nd at 10:30 am at the Hiawatha Public Library
