"Right To Harm" film screening
- 5:30 - 7:30 p.m.

Join the Sierra Club Cedar-Wapsie Group's screening of "Right To Harm"--a film exposing the crippling impact that factory farming has on public health, often to our most disadvantaged citizens. The film describes the effect of Concentrated Animal Feeding Operations (CAFOs) on five families exposed to millions of gallons of untreated waste from neighboring farms. Fed up with the government's inaction on regulating CAFOs, a group of citizen activists join together to demand justice. A panel discussion will follow the film screening.
This event is hosted by the Iowa Alliance for Responsible Agriculture and the Iowa Chapter of the Sierra Club.
