On March 17, Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds declared a statewide public health disaster emergency in response to the state's coronavirus outbreak. The proclamation includes the restriction of in-person gatherings of 10 or more people along with the temporary closing of several businesses in the arts, culture and entertainment sector.

Most of the public gatherings listed on the Hoopla calendar are canceled or postponed through the end of April. Please check with event organizers to confirm the status of events you see listed.

Event Description

Everything is more fun with wine! This introductory workshop is a fun, non-intimidating way to become familiar with all the bells and whistles of your camera. You’ll learn the basics of aperture, shutter speed, and ISO. Discussions are tailored to your interests, with plenty of practice time and one-on-one instruction. This is a casual way to dive into your photography, perfect for a date night or girl’s night out! Grab your friends, your camera, and your favorite bottle of wine and join me for a couple hours of fun! Must be 21 to attend.
