Event Description

The Family Caregivers of Mercy is holding an educational session on the Story of Chocolate.  In 2020, we are celebrating each month by doing something fun and joyful!  Chocolate is something that brings joy to many lives.  But do you know the history of chocolate or how it has become the decedent dessert we love today?  Come learn from Caregiver    Dianne Osmun as she shares where chocolate came from, how it is made and the various types available to you today.  There will be a chocolate tasting so bring your sweet tooth!

Registration is required.  Caregivers and care receivers are both invited.  To register or to request caregiving assistance at the while attending this event, please let us know 48 hours in advance by calling (319) 221-8866 or emailing  For caregivers: 18+
