On March 17, Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds declared a statewide public health disaster emergency in response to the state's coronavirus outbreak. The proclamation includes the restriction of in-person gatherings of 10 or more people along with the temporary closing of several businesses in the arts, culture and entertainment sector.

Most of the public gatherings listed on the Hoopla calendar are canceled or postponed through the end of April. Please check with event organizers to confirm the status of events you see listed.

Event Description

Come to downtown Cedar Rapids and check out the local classic cars! It will be located over the scenic Cedar River, on the 2nd Avenue Bridge, due to construction on the 3rd Avenue Bridge. Don't forget to stop by the annual Pancake Breakfast at the Veteran's Memorial Building on Mays Island!

FREE to spectators!

Pre-registration is $10 and $15 after June 30th 

Day-of registration is $15 and will be from 6:00am - 8:00am

NEW to 2020: a JUDGED show with 5 special categories and top 30 cars. See below for award details.

Judged show begins at 11am and concludes at 11:30am. Winners announced shortly after 11:30am.
