Event Description

Join facilitator Angie Pierce Jennings as we read and discuss Sue Monk Kidd’s new novel The Book of Longings. The story is told through the eyes of the main character, Ana, and is set in first-century Egypt and Palestine during the time of Jesus. Readers have described this book as life changing and life enhancing and also find themselves falling in love with Jesus all over again. This is a two-week (Aug. 5 and 12) series at Prairiewoods (120 East Boyson Road in Hiawatha). The cost is $10 per session. If we are not meeting in person at that time due to COVID-19, we will meet online via Zoom. For more information or to register, contact Prairiewoods at or 319-395-6700.
