Yoga: Virtual 

August 6-21 | Free

Take a FREE virtual yoga class at your leisure. Beginner and advanced levels will be available. No registration required. A link to the pre-recorded session will be on the website starting August 6. Sponsored by Whitey’s Ice Cream and Genesis Health System

Beyond the Galleries – In Person

6 p.m. Friday, August 7 $30 members | $35 non-members 

Andrew Wallace, director of collections and exhibitions, will lead a behind the scenes tour of the curatorial storage area and other private areas of the Figge Art Museum not seen by the public. Tickets are available for in person tour (limit 10 people) that includes appetizers, refreshments, and a special gift. Online-only tickets also are available. Sponsored by Sue Quail


Performance by Pianist Julian Gargiulo: Virtual

Noon Saturday, August 8 $15 members | $20 non-members  

Enjoy a live online performance by classical pianist Julian Gargiulo. Art Scavenger Hunt

Join in an art scavenger hunt around the Quad Cities at participating businesses. Once registered, clues to find hidden works of art will be provided and each stop will have a new clue. Illustrations for Kids with  Chuck Morris: Virtual

Monster Mosaics Class: Virtual 

6 p.m. Wednesday, August 10 $10 members | $15 non-members Ages 5+ 

Join us as we create a transparent monster mosaic that will catch the sun in the most marvelous way! Celebrate and explore the amazing Figge exhibition Where the Wild Things Are from 2018 and create a magical monster masterpiece. Participants will also visit the Kids Design Glass exhibition from 2014 and journey into the exhibition to explore the creative creatures created by kids. 15th Anniversary Finale: The Outing Club

It’s a celebration! Join our grand finale featuring Michelle Hargrave, Figge Executive Director, with surprise guests and a blessing by the Native America Coalition of the Quad Cities.  Thanks to our community organizations, businesses, and donors we have successfully paid off our 3 million dollar building debt. To celebrate this major milestone, we will have a live mortgage burning ceremony unlike one you’ve ever seen.

Begin the evening with a delicious meal prepared by chefs at the ‘Grande Dame’ of Quad City clubs, The Outing Club.  Dine with family and friends at the club (membership not required; private rooms available) or at home thanks to curbside pickup.  At 7 pm, join us virtually for the festivities! Proceeds from this event benefit the Figge Art Museum
