Event Description

Gender equality is a fundamental human right and one that has made progress over the past decades, but still faces many challenges around the world. The United Nations has included it as one of their sustainability goals, and in our time together, we will explore the objectives, progress, and challenges facing it. One of the key challenges we will discuss is how climate change is impacting women and girls worldwide and what we can each do to make a difference.

Zoom Livestream

Events are free and open to the MMU community only due to COVID-19 safety precautions. Seating will be limited due to social distancing. In keeping with its educational mission, Mount Mercy University welcomes presenters with varied perspectives.
