Puppy Obedience I with AKC® S.T.A.R. Puppy®

Based on the American Kennel Club® S.T.A.R Puppy® program, the goal of this course is to teach both owners and puppies effective behaviors for building a lasting relationship through obedience training. Some of the commands covered in this course include: walking nicely on a leash, sit, come, down, and stay. This class culminates with the AKC® S.T.A.R. Puppy® test. Successful completion of this course, or Dog Obedience I, is required to enroll in Obedience II and Agility courses and is seen as a good pre-requisite for those hoping to obtain a Canine Good Citizen® certification. Exceptional puppies will be able to test for the Canine Good Citizen® title after completion of this course. Registration is required prior to the class start date.
