Event Description

Knitty.com, an online  knitting magazine, tells us “short rows make curves or soft angles on the  mostly straight-edged, flat-paneled knitting landscape.” Currently, there are  several ways to knit them and short rows make pretty, colorful projects that  are truly unique. To best participate in this beginning-intermediate level  class, you will need to have mastered knit and purl stitches, be able to  count stitches and read charts, fix mistakes, and understand a provisional  cast on and Kitchener stitch. You will also need to make time for knitting at  home. Our main project is a hat designed by Wooly Wormhead. She has  unbelievable cool hat designs that are super fun to knit. We will discuss  yarn, gauge and needle sizes in class first.
