Event Description

Kenwood Park Neighborhood Association will host a National Night Out Celebration on Tuesday, August 3, 2021. The event will be held at Kenwood Park (at the corner of 35th St. and Zach Johnson Dr. NE). The menu will include hot dogs, chips, drink, ice cream and cookie. Sponsors for the event include Hy-Vee Food Stores and Elmcrest Country Club.


The party begins at 5:30 p.m. and continues until 7:00 p.m. The event is free to Kenwood Park and Parcrest neighbors. There will be yard games and prizes. City representatives, including Police and Fire Departments will stop by.


Anyone interested in volunteering to setup, serve or help with games contact Erica Yoder (KPNA President) at 369-4810. 


Bring your old torn or worn US flag and receive a brand new one for free.


Bring lawn chairs or blankets as there will be limited seating at the park
