Event Description

Recently rediscovered film footage of various Cedar Rapids scenes and news events dating back to the 1930s will be released as a 90-minute movie at The History Center. A real treat for history buffs and connoisseurs of culture – see the hustle and bustle of downtown Cedar Rapids in the '30s, the dedication of the airport in the '40s, speed skating at Roosevelt High in the '50s, a trampoline/tumbling event of international acclaim in the '60s and much more!

WHEN: Friday, August 20th
TIME: Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Program starts at 7:00 p.m.
TICKETS: $7 General Public, $5 Members of The History Center
