Event Description

Monday, January 17, 2022 join us on St. Paul's Facebook LIVE for a panel discussion, focusing on Dr. King’s legacy, the history of red-lining in Cedar Rapids, and the call to action in our own time. This virtual event will be live-streamed from the African American Museum of Iowa.

Panelists include Tonyamarie Adams, Cedar Rapids realtor and Neighborhood Building Assistant at Matthew 25, Jeff Pomeranz, Cedar Rapids City Manager; Kitty A. Amaya, Chief of Programs and Compliance at HUD’s Regional Office in Kansas City, Kansas covering four states, including Iowa; Betty Johnson, community volunteer and First Light Christian Fellowship member; and Clint Twedt-Ball, Executive Director of Matthew 25 in Cedar Rapids.
