Lego Parade of Homes

The Iowa City Area HBA Lego Parade of Homes is back by popular demand, sponsored by Randy’s Flooring. Kids aged 17 and younger are invited to summon their inner builder for a chance to win prizes, courtesy of Locals Love Us- ICR

Contest dates are May 9-20, with category winners announced the week of June 4. The Lego parade tour goes live June 4 at  www.iowacityhomes.thegazette.com/lego-tour, the first day of the Iowa City Area HBA Parade of Homes. The public may vote on the website for their Lego favorites through June 12, the last day of the Iowa City Area HBA Parade of Homes. The Lego Parade People’s Choice Award recipient will be revealed the week of June 20.

Here’s how to enter:
Step 1: Collect all your Legos.
Step 2: Build your home sweet home.
Step 3: Take photos of your creation.
Step 4: Enter your masterpiece by 5 p.m., May 20, at www.iowacityhomes.thegazette.com/lego-tour  by following the prompts. Only first names will be used when publicizing entries. Don’t forget to include your description (e.g. number of bedrooms, colors, types of countertops, etc.). 

Winners will be named June 6, and judges are from Randy’s Flooring and Iowa City Area HBA Parade of Homes Presenting Co-Sponsors Hills Bank and Urban Acres Real Estate.
