Backyard Bash

We invite you to our Backyard Bash family event to raise funds that support free and low-cost environmental education in our community. (Kids attend for free.)

Your attendance supports...

• Demonstration gardens that grow free food for our community.
• Classes that teach people how to grow wellness, food and habitat.
• Social media outreach that encourages sharing, demonstrates kindness and teaches environmental stewardship.

ACTIVITIES

Live Music

Enjoy boot-stompin' music from Cedar County Cobras and Flash in a Pan.

Free Beers and Juices

Sample free locally-brewed beer and fresh juices. Enjoy light refreshments provided by New Pioneer Food Co-op. (Meals and other drinks are available for a fee from Club 76.)

Yard Games

Toss bean bags. Play frisbee. Paint rocks. Let kiddos blow bubbles with natural bubble wands and play with toys in the sand pit and mud kitchen.

Ask-a-Gardener Panel

Bring questions to experienced gardeners. Free handouts will be available.
