Winter Gardening Fair

The Winter Gardening Fair 2023 is on Saturday, February 18 and is a day-long event with over 70 gardening workshops presented by Iowa gardening experts. Fifty sessions will be brand new topics this year! Beginner gardeners and seasoned professionals are welcome, as classes cover many topics at many levels. 

Workshop topics range from Apartment Agriculture, Designing a Natural Garden, Pollinator Magnets, and Vermicomposting: Let the Worms Do the Work. Hands-on classes include how to propagate houseplants, how to make a rustic tower terrace, and making a succulent dish garden.

 There will be numerous gardening vendors and non-profit organizations to visit before, during and after the classes, as well as a seed swap for attendees!
