Rising star percussionist Britton-Rene Collins tackles Grammy Award-winning composer Michael Daugherty's Dreamachine, a concerto for percussion that pays tribute to the imaginations of inventors who envision new machines, both real and fantastical. A ballet suite from Stravinsky's first big hit, The Firebird, closes the program with its formidable Infernal Dance and Finale.
