Iowa Ceramics Center & Glass Studio Summer Youth 1-Day Workshops Glass Ice Crean Cone Garden Stake

Glass Ice Cream Cone Garden Stake: Create an Ice Cream garden stake in this summer camp workshop.  We will teach you some warm glass techniques including: how to safely cut glass and how to layer glass to create your desired design.  How you decorate your ice cream cone is all up to you using small pieces of glass!  You will also paint your wooden stake to coordinate with your garden or Ice cream cone.  Finished projects will measure approximate 4”x4”.

All glass participants must wear closed toed shoes and clothing that covers their legs for glass safety, protective eyewear is provided.  Projects will be dried on our shelves, then fired in our kilns for pick up 3 weeks after camp ends. Glass Summer Camp Workshops are for ages 8-15.
