"Cover Story" Exhibit of Fantastical Art at The ArtiFactory Gallery

Explore the fantastical art of Iowa City illustrator Candice Broersma in the “Cover Story” exhibit at The ArtiFactory Gallery, which features over thirty pieces of originals and prints from her personal projects and professional book cover commissions. Included in the collection is Broersma’s “Uncanny Forest” series of curious tree folk in mixed media as well as miniature scratchboards from her “Monster Buddy Project.”  The show has been extended to run through Oct.23 and is available for viewing during regular gallery hours on Saturday from 1-3 or by arrangement.  There will also be two special viewing opportunities on Sunday Oct.1 during the “Arts in the Alley” music and dance event and Gallery Walk on Friday Oct.13 from 5-8 p.m.
