Japanese Shibori Dying (Indigo Tie-Dye)

Get ready to dive into the awesome world of Japanese Shibori dying! Our super fun class will show you the ropes of this ancient art form, where you'll learn cool techniques to make mind-blowing patterns on fabric. With our friendly instructors by your side, you'll have a blast creating your very own custom-designed masterpieces to take home and show off to your friends!

We'll be dying kitchen towels, so you'll go home with a matching set. 

Feel free to bring your own cotton shirts/bags/etc if you'd like to dye something alternative.

About the Artist

Lauren is a Cedar Rapids artist who received her BFA in Painting from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design in 2014. She also studied abroad in Japan at the Osaka University of arts.
