55+ Discover Iowa's Avian Wonders: Immerse yourself in the fascinating world of Iowa's birds! Explore real bird nests, listen to the unique calls of various species, and examine mounted birds alongside replica eggs. You'll also learn how you can participate in a citizen science birding event, observing and recording the birds that visit the feeders at Indian Creek Nature Center. After the program, feel free to spend additional time in the bird room, enjoying the serene view of birds visiting the outdoor feeders.
This off-site event, co-sponsored with Indian Creek Nature Center and Bridge to Opportunities, will be held at the Indian Creek Nature Center’s Amazing Space building, 5300 Otis Rd SE, Cedar Rapids.
