Event Description

Coe College will host the celebrated and award-winning authors Alissa Nutting and Mike Scalise. Nutting is a creative writing professor at Grinnell and the author of “Tampa” and “Unclean Jobs for Women and Girls.” She will read from her latest novel, “Made for Love,” about a woman escaping an evil tech-genius husband (who founded a company called Gogol). Scalise will read from his debut memoir, “The Brand New Catastrophe,” about the author’s “gigantism" and Andre the Giant. The event will be held in Kesler. It is free and open to the public.
