Event Description

Courage Ride is an annual bike ride over rolling hills past Amish homesteads and over old stagecoach routes near Kalona honoring the life of Seth Bailey, a courageous young man who died at age 25 from sarcoma cancer in 2003. His parents, Jackie and Tom Bailey, partnered with Bicyclists of Iowa City (BIC) to create a ride that all levels of cyclists can enjoy! All proceeds go to the University of Iowa Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center Sarcoma Research Program. 

When: Saturday, August 18, 2018 

Where: Iowa Mennonite School (IMS), 1421 540th St SW, Kalona, Iowa 

Cost: Advance registration for adults is $75 and youth (13-17) is $15 through August 10. Starting August 11, adult registration is $85.
