Event Description

Take time to be with others in grief and engage the creative spark. Jamie Siela, LISW, and Christine Wagner-Hecht, MDiv, from Unity Point Hospice facilitate this monthly grief support group open to anyone grieving loss through death. On the third Wednesday of each month, we explore a different creative medium online via Zoom. Bring your creative ideas to help brighten the days of others! On Nov. 18, we will make dream catchers, which were originally made by North American Indians and were believed to give their owners good dreams. We will create unique pieces that can hold our good thoughts and dreams close. This support group is offered as a partnership between Prairiewoods and Unity Point Hospice. Due to COVID-19, this will be offered via Zoom with a to go art kit mailed to all registered participants the week prior to group. This group is free and includes all art supplies. Registration is required eight days in advance. For more information or to register, contact Prairiewoods at or 319-395-6700.
