An avid road tripper, Megan writes about offbeat destinations, roadside attractions, and “world’s largest” things. She is also the author of Iowa Supper Clubs, which highlights classic restaurants both past and present across the state. Megan lives in Des Moines with her husband, cat named Poe, and approximately 52 houseplants. School Board Candidate Forums - Linn-Mar and Marion School Districts
<p>Community members are invited to attend non-partisan school board candidate forums for Linn-Mar and Marion districts on Tuesday, October 17 in the Community Room of the Marion Library. Questionsare submitted by attendees and presented to the candidates by the forum Moderator. The forum for Linn-Mar School Board candidates will be held from 5:30-6:15 pm, followed by the forum for Marion School Board candidates from 6:30-7:15 pm. These forums are organized by the League of Women Voters Linn County as part of its mission to inform and empower voters.
