<p>Singing as a therapeutic strategy helps with treatment for voice, respiratory, and swallow impairment in persons with Parkinson's Disease. Singing shares many elements in common with voice production and targets the musculature involved in respiratory control and swallowing. Plus it's fun! Class is led by a certified Music Therapist. Person with PD and their care partner are both welcome. Held in-person and via Zoom.</p>

<p>The Cedar Rapids Metro Parkinson's Association Support/Education meets monthly on the third Thursday at 4:00 p.m. Caregiver and person with Parkinson's are both welcome.
