<p>When school is out, it’s time to play! Our camps are designed to nurture a love of learning through interactive activities led by skilled museum educators. With a range of themes to choose from, there’s something for every child’s interests.</p><p> <strong>Monday, March 13, 2023 - Play Palooza</strong></p><p>This “camper’s choice” play session will allow kids to choose how they want to play. Because the museum is closed to the public on Mondays, we’ll have the whole museum to ourselves for supervised free play and special activities. Children will use their senses to explore different ingredients through measuring and mixing. Valentine’s Day Card Workshop
<p>Join The Iowa Children’s Museum and special guest <a href="http://www.publicspaceone.com/icpc">Iowa City Press Coop</a> for a Valentine’s Day card-making extravaganza! Families will make hand-printed and stamped Valentine’s cards and create goodies for loved ones in this very special workshop.</p><p>Our hand-printed cards will have a Valentine’s message using a Kelsey clamshell letterpress printing press. Watch the printing press in action and then decorate the front with unique designs using a collection of stamps!</p><p>This family workshop is recommended for ages 4 and up. Siblings, caregivers, and friend groups are all welcome! Children must be supervised at all times by the grown-ups in their group.</p><p><em>Family workshops follow a pay-what-you-can model.
