Mini-Hydroponics Class at Prairiewoods

You can grow fresh leafy greens and herbs all year long with a hydroponics system. Hydroponics is a technique of growing plants without soil using a water-based nutrient solution. It allows you to grow greens and herbs inside year-round without the need for garden space. In this workshop at Prairiewoods (120 East Boyson Road in Hiawatha), Linn County Master Gardener Phil Pfister will help you build your own mini-ponics system. You’ll be provided the materials and hands-on instructions to build your own system to take home. The cost is $90 and includes all supplies. For more information or to register, contact Prairiewoods at www.Prairiewoods.org or 319-395-6700.
2023-08-21 20:00:00 -050010/24/23 @ 6:00 p.m.Prairiewoods Franciscan Spirituality CenterHiawatha
