<p>FREE, family-friendly event for Cyclones of all ages! Join fellow Cyclone fans in celebration of Iowa State Athletics! All kids in attendance will receive a complimentary gift. Food and beverage available for purchase, along with the opportunity to purchase official Iowa State merchandise. <p>The exhibit includes a large display of the uniforms, equipment, and memorabilia of The University of Iowa Scottish Highland Bagpipe Band that began in 1937 as an all male ROTC unit. The band was changed to an all female band when the men were called to serve in World War II. The men performed at the 1939 World's Fair and the women in 1964 World's Fair, both in New York City. They also marched at Iowa football games and parades throughout the United States. The women also performed in various cities in Scotland and England before traveling to the European continent.
