Festival participants will enjoy classes in movement and music, improvisation for classically trained musicians, jazz piano, chamber groups for strings, flute, harp, woodwinds, orchestra, jazz combos and more; and get to work with some of the finest musicians in the country. We take pride in finding musicians that have performed in all parts of the music industry from the orchestral hall, big band riser, chamber ensemble, or commercial music setting , students are pleasantly surprised to find the ease with which our faculty slip between genres at the highest level of teaching and performance. &nbsp;9:30 am-4pm, June 27-July 1, St. Paul's United Methodist Church, 1340 3rd Ave SE, Cedar Rapids. &nbsp;A week of rehearsals culminates in faculty and student concerts at 4 and 7 pm, July 1st.
