Sacred Harp (Shape Note) Singing
<p>This session will be an introduction to Shape Note singing from <em>The Sacred Harp.</em> This is a singing tradition that started in colonial New England, persisted in the rural south, and has spread back across the country and around the world over the last 50 years. </p><p>We will start with a brief discussion of its history, notation, and traditions, then proceed with singing several selections from <em>The Sacred Harp. </em>Plans are to<em> </em>continue with monthly singings at this location on a schedule to be decided at this session.<em><br></em></p> 2023-09-05 12:00:00 -0500

Fall In Love Speed Dating & Mixer Event
<p>How does it work?</p><p>Each single will go on a series of mini-dates lasting about 3-4 minutes. After each date, you will have an opportunity to indicate on the sheet provided if there is a match. At the end of the event, The Heart Agency will collect all sheets. If there is a mutual connection, The Heart Agency will do a formal email introduction of both parties, and the rest is history! (Information will only be shared if there is a mutual match).</p><p>What if you are nervous and don't know what to say? We got you!
