Children's Author Event: John Patrick Green and Eric Gapstur

Swamp Fox Bookstore and the Marion Public Library in collaboration with Macmillan Publishing are excited to welcome children's author John Patrick Green on Wednesday, February 19 at 6 pm. John, the author of the popular InvestiGators series, will be conversation with local author, illustrator, and cartoonist Eric Gapstur (Sort of Super series).

John and Eric will sign books at the conclusion of the event and 10% of all sales will be donated back to the Marion Public Library. If there is a specific title of John's (InvestiGators series, Agents of S.U.I.T. series) or Eric's (Sort of Super series) you would like signed, please preorder those titles via Swamp Fox Bookstore and your order will be brought to the event for you!

John Patrick Green is a human with the human job of making books about animals with human jobs, notably the smash-hit graphic novel series InvestiGators. John is definitely a multiple New York Times-bestselling human author and not just a bunch of animals in a trench coat pretending to have a human job. With over three million copies of InvestiGators in print, John is a successful human being with only two hands and a normal amount of fur. He lives in a Brooklyn apartment that doesn't allow animals other than the ones living in his head.

Eric Gapstur is an author, illustrator, and cartoonist living in eastern Iowa with his wife and two sons. His work can be seen in DC and Image comics, among others. Sort of Super is his debut middle grade graphic novel series.
