Cedar Rapids, Iowa – Cleveland Elementary School Parent Teacher Organization is proud to announce Cleveland Elementary School’s 75th Anniversary of being in their current building, marking three-quarters of a century of educating and empowering students in the Cedar Rapids community. To commemorate this milestone, the school will host a special Alumni Open House Reception & Tours on Saturday, September 6, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. This celebratory event is open to all former staff and students of Cleveland Elementary. Attendees will have the opportunity to reconnect with old friends and teachers, tour the school, and reflect on Cleveland’s rich history and lasting impact. “We’re excited to welcome generations of Cleveland Eagles back through our doors,” said Andy Drzycimski, president of Cleveland Elementary PTO. “This event is a chance to honor the legacy of our school and celebrate the many lives it has touched.” Guests are encouraged to bring photos, memories, and stories to share. Light refreshments will be provided.
