Dick Pinney: Jack of All Trades
<p>Dick Pinney (1924-1996) was a long-time favorite in the Cedar Rapids art scene. Accomplished in many media, this former creative director for Stamats Communications and Coe College vice president was perhaps most famous for the numerous carved wood assemblages that he created, usually as commissions for area business leaders. Paintings, drawings, ceramics, assemblages, constructions, games, and puppets were all part of Pinney’s repertoire. This exhibition, timed to coincide with the 25th anniversary of Pinney’s passing in 1996, celebrates the artist’s diverse and wide-reaching artwork. </p> 2022-06-04 16:00:00 -05006/04/2210:00 a.m.Cedar Rapids Museum of ArtCedar Rapids -
