“Disguised in Green” Dress-Up Day
<p>Do you love the color green? Do you love wearing disguises? How about both?! Join us on Tuesday, December 26th, 2023, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. for our “Disguised in Green” Dress-Up Day!</p><p>Why green and disguises? On “Grow a Good Citizen Day’, kids cast their vote for the candidate (and event) that they liked best. We had a tie between Pete the Turtle (who wanted to have a green day) and our puppet friend George (who wanted the disguise day). So we thought it would be EXTRA special to combine the two platforms into one FANTASTIC celebration day!! Come wearing green, or a disguise, or a green-themed disguise; it’s your choice!</p><p>During the day, we will have green and disguised-themed activities. Holiday Play Land - Friday Nights
<p>Holiday Play Land is a special pop up indoor play space just for this holiday season! We have a variety of holiday themed activities to get you into the holiday spirit. The space will be full of equipment that will get your child moving, during the colder months. Equipment will include ride-on toys, mini workout gear, inflatables, sports fields and much more. Countdown Celebration
<p>Let’s ring in the new year ALL DAY LONG! Join us on Sunday, December 31st as we celebrate 2024 arriving across the world with hourly countdowns.</p><p>Countdowns will take place at 11 AM, 12 PM, 1 PM, 2 PM, 3 PM, and shortly before 4 PM.</p><p>No need to stop the play or gather in a large crowd—noisemakers, balloons, and other celebratory items will be available for a museum-wide countdown over our speaker system. While you play, you can also create your own party hat, take a selfie in our photo station, and complete a countdown scavenger hunt.</p><p>All activities are included with regular museum admission. FREE for members!</p><p>The museum will close after our last countdown at 4:00 PM.
