Recycle Gala "Trashion" Show
<h5>=</h5><p>Cedar Valley Habitat for Humanity's annual Recycle Gala will take place on Thursday, October 5. Join us at the Olympic South Side Theater in Cedar Rapids for a runway "trashion" show with recycled attire designed by local artists, businesses, and community members. The event also includes music, live and silent auctions, drinks, charcuterie, and more! Doors open at 6PM and the show starts at 7PM. ORCHIDS ARE A SCREAM: ORCHID SHOW AND SALE
<p>Orchid plants have beautiful and exotic flowers! Some are even a bit scary! Come see hundreds of blooming orchids exhibited by orchids societies from around the Midwest and displays of orchid related crafts and collectables, all centered around a seasonal Halloween theme. Orchid plants and collectables will be for sale by four regional vendors. Volunteers will answer questions<strong><i>. </i></strong>All plants will be judged by the American Orchid Society Judges. The show venue is family friendly and offers visitors an “up close and personal” view of some of nature's most exotic flowers.
