Visual artists also use this approach. For me, a theme is generally related to the subject matter depicted, but it can also be about the approach to composition or the use of certain materials. For this exhibit, instead of showing the seven or eight (or more) variations on a theme, I have chosen to show just two of a kind.

Front:

Yellow Barn on the Lincoln Highway

36”x48” acrylic on wood

Grain Elevator in Three Forks

36”x30” acrylic on wood
2022-06-24 19:00:00 -05007/07/225:00 p.m.Cherry BuildingCedar Rapids -
